Registration

Please fill out the details below to create an EASY account, with which you can download or deposit research data. Downloading Open Access data does not require a login.

Account
A short name you will use to log in (minimal 5 characters, only letters and numbers).
A secret phrase you will use to log in (minimal 6 characters).
Repeat the password to make sure you typed it correctly.
For future correspondence, specify an address which is as permanent as possible.

Newsletter DataLink informs you about datasets, data management and services of DANS. DataLink is sent every 2 months by mail and is only available in Dutch.

For the sake of scholarly exchange and collaboration, your actions (in particular downloading) on dataset files will be displayed to registered users (at the dataset Activity log). Do you accept ('Yes') that your personal information is shown there? If you object ('No') your actions will appear as if performed by an anonymous user.

In order to be registered, you must accept and understand the General DANS Conditions of Use. Please note that these conditions include that:

  • You should always include an acknowledgement of sources in the research results that you publish, where use is made of digital data originating from one of the datasets of DANS. For details see the Disclaimer of EASY.
  • You should respect any copyright and/or database rights relating to datasets, in particular when distributing or publishing datasets.
  • Your actions (e.g. downloading) on data files will be displayed to registered users (at the dataset Activity log). Whether your name is displayed there, depends on the setting of the option 'Show my actions' in your personal settings.
