This dataset represents the results of the excavations conducted between 1988 and 2014 at Tell Ibrahim Awad in the Eastern Nile Delta of Egypt. It concerns a cemetery, settlement and temple sequence from about 3200 to 2000 BC. It comprises published and unpublished material, the latter in the form of photographs, drawings and object lists. In addition, the results of one other excavation at Hierakonpolis in Southern Egypt during one season in 2017 are represented, concerning a cemetery dated 3100-3000 BC.
