Dataset generated in the framework various projects, in which macro moths were sampled using UV-LED light traps. These traps were placed in pine forests of the Sila Massif, Calabria, South Italy, under different silvicultural management regimes. Through this dataset we provide information about the nights on which samplings were carried out and georeferenced data on trap locations, allowing to gather data on the weather conditions of sampling nights from weather datasets widely distributed online. The management of pine forests where the traps were set is also reported in the dataset as well as the abundance and frequency of sampled macromoths for each trap. The dataset can be useful for landscape ecology studies, long-term population dynamics and single species ecology.
